Explorer Scouts are the fourth section of Scouting, following on after Scouts.  The age range for Explorers is 13.5 to 18 years. They are run at a district level, so there is no Explorer Unit as part of the group, but the group has a close link with the Edge Explorer Unit, which usually meets in our Scout Hall on Thursday nights between 20.00 and 22.00.

Membership is open to former Scouts from any Scout groups as well as young men and women who have never been involved in Scouting before.  All are made very welcome!
